THE VINTNER'S RETREAT

With the vintner’s retreat, we wanted to maintain the sanctity of our client’s vineyard and produce minimal construction impact on the agriculture, all while providing a luxurious escape to indulge in the wine country lifestyle.

Our team fitted the design to those parameters, but we still had one more solution to provide: design for resilience against wildfires.

With our client’s property zoned as wildfire urban interface, our team’s extensive knowledge of steel modular construction easily allowed us to utilize that inherently fire resistant building method to best provide our client with not only a beautiful result, but one that could withstand a risky climate.

ITERÆ’s “the vintner’s retreat” is a project we’re very excited to see come to life. Thanks to the team at West Manufacturing, we’re able to beautifully pair our mid century design principles with their steel modular frames, to not only compliment the vineyard’s landscape, but provide incredible escapes in one of the world’s most picturesque regions.
